A note on v9944 and general status

v9944 is from April 2020.
This specific version was a beta release, but it’s a popular target version for mods.
Betas were historically linked on the game’s official Discord server not to clog up the already-long list of itch releases (each version number change is a new public release).
Current NTT versions can be found on ntt_development beta branch on Nuclear Throne’s Steam.
This is because NTT-Assemble (NTT’s patcher/preparation tool) needs changes to be compatible with current GameMaker versions, and this is a cheap way to semi-reliably deliver a build to users that own the game.
Non-Steam releases will resume after I (or someone else - it’s open-source) update NTT-Assemble. That’ll be after I’m done with other issues.
